Maria’s week of training is made up of cardio, strength workouts, and flexibility drills. She starts her day off with a quick cardio session, before having a hearty meal.
In the afternoon, she’ll have a strength workout, where she’ll do all sorts of exercises to keep her body toned. These include squats, barbell presses, lunges, and ab rollouts.
After completing the workout, Maria likes to spend the next 10 or 20 minutes stretching the muscles she’d trained that day. This helps her to prevent injury and reduce lactic acid build-up within the muscle.
