Sadiq Khan was born on 8 October 1970 in Tooting, South London. He was born and rise to a working-class British Pakistani family. Sadiq is the son of Amanullah Khan and Tehran Khan. His Father was a bus driver and mother a seamstress.

Talking his career, Khan consequently worked as a solicitor specializing in human rights and chaired Liberty for three-year from the young age. Joining Labour, Khan was a Councillor for the London Borough of Wandsworth from 1994 to 2006 ahead of being elected MP for Tooting in 2005.
In 2008, Khan was elected Minister of State for Communities, below the Labour government of Prime minister Gordon Brown. Afterward, he became Minister of State for Transportation. Sadiq has emerged in various interviews and television shows. He worked in Milliband’s Shadow Cabinet as a Shadow Secretary State for Justice, and then Shadow Minister for London. After that, he was elected Mayor of London in May 2016 mayoral election.
